Switch Up Your Routine

If you find yourself hitting the late-summer slump, a good way to break out of your funk is to change things up! Repetition in workouts, while beneficial in certain ways, can make you feel a little bit uninspired. So, try something new! If you always work out in the mornings, maybe do it in the evening instead. Get Some New Workout Clothes

It may seem a little bit strange, but a great way to get your buns back in workout “gear” is to buy new clothes! Not “going out and about” clothes (unless your closet needs it, because who are we to stop you from treating yourself), but fitness clothes. Just the sight of some new running shoes, a tank top, and shorts will you give you the motivation to break them in! Also, put those fresh pair of kicks by your door instead of tucked away in your closet so that they can tempt you every time you leave the house.

Remember How Good You Feel

After all your hard work preparing to look good poolside, why not stick with it? Not only did you look good, but there’s no denying that you felt good as well! Following good nutrition and working out regularly is for more than just appearances. When your body is happy, you’re happy! And think, if you have a vacation coming up or taking a dip in the hot tub, your body is still going to look great!
