Start with 10 minutes a day, once this feels comfortable move up to 20 minutes, and so on until your workouts feel second nature. Set reminders for the entire week

Check your schedule for the entire week. Determine when you can spare time to begin your workout. Check if it would be easier for you to work out half an hour before breakfast, or an hour before bed. You have important tasks and appointments already on your schedule but there is no reason that your health and well-being shouldn’t be of equal importance. In case something comes up at the time of your workout, adjust the time to when it’s more convenient for you. It doesn’t matter when you get your workout in, as long as you get it done. Persistence is crucial when trying to lose weight, or to just maintain your current health. Your aim should be to exercise at least four times a week, whether it be strenuous exercises or some simple cardio. Dedicating a certain time of day for your own personal health isn’t the worst idea in the world.

Do exercises that you enjoy

There is no reason to jump right into advanced exercise classes that leave you drained and unwilling to continue, especially if you have just begun your journey to a healthier you. The key to achieving good health, fitness, and well-being is to do things that you enjoy while also catering to your body’s specific abilities and goals. If you’re a beginner, do simple routines to get you going and keep you motivated. If you’re a little bit more experienced, find a regimen that pushes you but also doesn’t deter you from continuing. In general, find what works for YOU! Not your neighbor, not your friend, it’s your body that you’re working out so it should be a program that matches your goals. Working out can be in the form of any physical movement, such as yoga, walking, bicycling, or outdoor sports. Start with 20 minutes a day and gradually build up when your body builds tolerance.   

Have someone exercise with you

One of the most difficult things about following a consistent routine on your own is just that… following it.
